Genesis Statement

Sarbanetra Foundation Trust, BBSR

Our journey began with a shared vision  to protect the natural world and empower communities to thrive in harmony with their environment. Growing concern over the pressing social and environmental challenges faced by communities in our nation  challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and environmental injustice, inadequate awareness about ecological conservation have become increasingly prominent.  A group of like-minded individuals—professionals, educators, environmentalists, and community workers—came together with a shared vision to serve society and restore ecological balance through participatory development in 2022 to create an organization rooted in action. our early engagements in grassroots awareness programs, local clean-up drives, bold donation camp, food distribution to poor, rescue operation for pet animal, plantation and restoration etc. We believe that sustainable development is not just a goal, but a responsibility. Our genesis is marked by a commitment to bridge the gap between ecological preservation and human well-being, ensuring that every initiative we undertake contributes to a healthier planet and a more equitable society. our foundation is built on the principles of integrity, collaboration, and long-term impact from grassroots conservation efforts to pioneering sustainable technologies, environmental awareness, waste management, women and youth empowerment, and rural livelihood enhancement. It was evident that a coordinated, community-driven effort was required to bring about meaningful and lasting change. After a series of consultations and strategic planning sessions, the group formally decided to establish the “Sarbanetra Foundation ”  to institutionalize their shared efforts and build long-term impact mechanisms. Thus, the organization was born, driven by a simple yet powerful mission to empower communities, protect natural ecosystems, and promote sustainable development through education, innovation, and collaboration.
